Mr Turtle pleasantly made the introduction to Nemo's father, Marlin, "Jellyman, Offspring. Offspring, Jellyman."
Fortunately, we homo sapiens are not as fertile as the turtles. Mr Turtle has so many children that he simply named them all "Offspring". hahahahaha... If we are as fertile as the turtles, the Earth would be long over populated. Well, the Earth IS already over populated if you ask me.
Traditional Chinese thinking, is that we must have kids. And everyone hopes for at least one baby boy, as to "传宗接代". What's up with this 传宗接代 anyway? So what if the world has another baby who carries a particular surname? Be it, Chan, Ng, Lee, Kwek, whatever... It won't cause the Earth to become a better place, won't cause the Earth to become larger so it can accomodate more human beings BUT an additional mouth to consume the already limited food and water on Earth.
So why are we having more babies? I don't know. But people are getting old, aging of population is a problem...HOWEVER, I don't think people want to have babies is because of "aging of population", gotta have more babies to support the old people in future... It's just simply for 传宗接代. BUT I still don't understand what's so important about that.
We have infinite people in every corner of the world doing this generally deemed "noble procreation job". I seriously think, that we should give other species a chance to procreate more than what they are now. Species other than human beings are mostly at the brink of extinction. So why are we having more and more babies than what the Earth could eventually tolerate? and driving more and more species into extinction?
We are suffocating the Earth, we really are. That's why, at this moment, I think I should not have kids when I'm married.
That is some noble excuse for not wanting babies, huh? hahahaha...
Actually, I had countless dreams of me being pregnant and giving birth, ever since I was 16 years old. I was always very happy when I had those dreams, it felt so real. However, 12 years had passed. I have long became a "procreation-capable-female-homo sapien" and I don't wish to have babies now. I don't deny the possibility of me wanting babies when I have found that special someone. Who knows? But I just don't see what's so important about having babies. I just don't.

Muscular arms
One day morning, I suddenly realised something.
I have a thing for muscular arms (of men, of course). Muscular arms are just ssssoooo sexy, and it turns me on right away.
Just like Issa of Da Pump. There's no picture of his sexy arms here but anyway, he's sexy.
Issa wore a sleeveless shirt and sang the very nice "IF" in one of their concerts. He looked absolutely gorgeous, so simple, yet so attractive.
Though at times, his long and muscular arms made him looked like an ape... ahhahahahah... and then I wondered, why do I fancy a guy whose arms look like apes'?
Then, I suddenly understand why. Simple! Because, I like apes~~! Ha! As simple as that. Basically I like all primates/apes/monkeys... So that's why. hahahahahaha....

Mazda 3
Sometimes when I have to run some errant at work I have to drive my boss's car, either a Toyota or a Mazda 3.
I love to drive the Mazda 3 of course.
It is such a ffffine carrr.... hahaha..
But I always laugh to myself when I drive the Mazda 3. Bcos I'm short, other drivers from behind will think that this Mazda in front is driven by nobody... "An unmanned vehicle on the road!" hahahahaha... Every time I think about this I will laugh...
Anyway, I continued to enjoy driving this fine baby, feeling the breeze (from the aircond of cos) on my face, imagining this smooth, elegant vehicle is MINE.
Materialistic? Well, who doesn't like cars? If my father is loaded I would want a RX8, or a Lotus, or a Porche even. hahaha... Yeah right... dream on....

Queue at an empty counter
Went to McD yesterday. I was second in the queue. One of the staffs, an auntie, came to take my order using a PDA. After taking my order she said to me, "Go to the counter please." But there was no cashier at the counter she gestured to me...
So I stood there, remained silence. I didn't want to move since there was NO cashier there. She then repeated what she said and pushed me towards that counter... I had no choice.. She pushed me...
Can't she see that there's no cashier there??
So I stood in front of the empty counter... dumbfounded...
Then the customer at the counter I was queuing left. So I moved back to that counter… What a waste of time having me to go to the empty counter… funny woman.

Zoo~
Went to Singapore Zoo with 2 friends today. Some of the interesting stuffs :
One of my favourite, Meerkats. They are just so adorable and looks so cuddly. Every time I see them, either in the zoo or on tv, I just can't help but marvel at their cuteness.

Disgusting Madagascan hissing cockroaches. And one of their ugly heads... haha....

Another cuddly animal, ring-tailed lemur. It is so prettttyyyyy.... I hope one day I'd get the chance to see them in their real home, Madagascar.
A beautiful butterfly.

Mushrooms. Photo on the left was shot without flash. Aren't they beautiful?

Parrots with fiery red feathers.
This is one thing I wish to have... Iguana. I had a small one but was stolen...
What a lovely orang-utan baby~~~~ I want to hold it~~~~

This penguin was very interested in us the human, as much as we were interested in them. Hahaha....

This is one thing I wish to have... Iguana. I had a small one but was stolen... This baboon is really clever. My friend just kiddingly moved her hand, gesturing to this baboon, and he began to roll on the floor, knowing fully well that he will be rewarded with bananas my friend bought. He did it so many times. It was totally hilarious....

There's another female baboon with a baby did some "stunts" in order to get bananas too. But she did sommersaults instead of rolling on the floor, with the baby hanging on her belly. I didn't manage to get a photo of her.
I just can't look enough at the sloth... It has grown bigger (if it's the same one I saw one year ago). If only I can hold them...

What a lovely orang-utan baby~~~~ I want to hold it~~~~

Hand shakes
Ever shake hands with guys who shake your hand without any strength at all? That is pure ill-manner!
In my last diving trip, there was this guy, we shook hand when we were being introduced. He literally just "hand out" his hand for me to shake/hold....... There was not the slightest strength from his hand!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who the hell does he think he is????? A Prince of Saudi Arabia? How ill-mannered! I had to really restrain myself from slapping him in the face!!!!!!!!
I've experienced this dozens of times, but he's the worst. It's like that hand is handicapped. I'm sorry that's a crude remark but that was the fact. Please don't ever let me meet this guy again... uurrggghhh..... cannot stand it..................
Why do guys shake hand like that anyway??? Shy? That's not shy, that's ill-manner..............

Tony Jaa~!! I saw Tony Jaa~~~
Oh my God!!! I wrote the blog about Ong Bak on 18th Sep, merely a mth later, I ACTUALLY got to meet the leading actor Tony Jaa!!!!!!!!

I can't believe this!!!! REALLY REAALLLYY can't believe this! To think that I was still talking with my best friends weeks ago, that if I ever get to see Tony Jaa, i think I will die of happiness... HAHAHAHAHAH... but I didn't die, I'm still here, writing this blog with a SUPER BIG smile on my face! Whoahoa!!!

I was sooo lucky... the guard actually let a few of the fans inside the barrier to take the seats. I dare not go in, I thought they were meant for VIPs but my friend pushed me and we went in! We actually got seats!!! hahaha...
That's why when Tony was doing his stunts I was able to walk in front and took some photos. But there were some reporters there so I can't get a proper photo.

Then when Tony's leaving, because we're inside the barrier, we were able to go towards him but I dare not approach Tony but my friend kept urging me so I went to him and took the photo!!!!!!
but the security guard was chasing us out already, therefore only myself got this photo, my friend missed the chance
So sorry to him. But he's a guy, he won't be as crazy over Tony as me. hahaha... so I guess it's ok..
I almost missed the chance of seeing Tony Jaa, thanks to my friend who informed me after she read the news in a nwsppr.
Oh my God Oh my God!!! I'm sooooooo happy!!!!!!!!! Never imagine this to come true!!!! It's truly truly amazing!!!!! How would such lucky thing happened to me??? hahahahahhaha... very very happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, i forgot to write, I was soooo happy that I had to refrain myself from laughing non-stop in the train... HAHAHAHAH... almost choked..............hahahahahahhaha.....
And I slept with a smile on my face, the next day I woke up also with a bbiiggg smile on my face.
hahahahahahaha...........

Ong Bak~~~
I just watched the movie Ong Bak after so long it's been shown at cinemas. 3 words for this movie :
OH MY GOD~~~~
I love the leading actor Tony Jaa~~~ He's not very handsome but Oh My God was he cool or what~ I watched his fighting scenes over and over again. How did he do that? And afterwards I read that the movie, unlike Jackie Chan's, was made without wires, without double stuntman, without any digital alteration. Muay Thai looked so elegant and cool to me now. hahahahahahaha..
Tony Jaa looked really handsome after I watched the movie. hahaha... I searched the web then. And found out that he looked up to Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan since he was very little and determined to be an action star since then. So he learnt Muay Thai. And he practised like from 5am to 10am everyday.. Man... really determined he was. And it paid off now.
I loved Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan and Jet Lee. But Bruce Lee is dead, and both Jackie Chan and Jet Lee are becoming old and not that charming anymore. Now,ha! Tony Jaa~ he'll be the one I'd be looking forward to see in my dreams from now on. hahahahahahaha.... perhaps I'll speak some Thai with him in my dreams. oh hohohohohoho.......

Reality Show/Celebrity Wannabe
Nowadays you can't turn on the tv without seeing a reality or superstar or xxxxx idol show.
Everybody wants to be a star now. And it's easier than ever to be a star in this era. There're endless competitions for anyone to take part in. Before you're even in the final you will probably have fans waiting for you outside the tv studio already.
What I hate about these shows is, why the hell does everyone who has lost or kicked out of the competition had to cry????!! It's just one competition for crying out loud. I don't see people crying like that at funerals anymore but at these shows... And it's not just girls who cried, the men too. What is wrong with this world?? What happen to the macho men? What happen to our teaching of 男人流血不流泪 ?? Yes, the new generation consider man who cry, I should say, who is not afraid to shed tears, as sentimental, affectionate. And I respect that. But for a goddamn competition? Come On~ If you really want it that much to be a star then go and take part in other competition! Cry for what??!!
Watching too much of these shows is not good. It instil a "kiasu" culture amongst the youngsters. You'll notice how the kids nowadays dread losing... Little kids, they can become depressed for losing in one competition. I guess telling them " 失败乃成功之母" is of no good anymore.. sigh... What has the world become??

Irritating human pests
There are some people I would classify them as human pests. I’m sure anyone will, well, somehow agree.
I was in the MRT yesterday. There it was, this pest, used his (I assumed it was a he) mobile’s MP3 player function to play this stupid heavy metal songs aloud. And I mean ALOUD. The whole 3 cars of people can hear it and were turning to see which idiot was playing such loud “noise” (I wouldn’t call THAT “music”). It was lucky that he’s in the last car of the train so it affected only 3 cars or carriages, whatever you call it. Else, he would have disturbed all the people in 5 or 6 cars.
I couldn’t take it and I left to other seats in the front cars where I can have a peace of mind.
I really disagree on these new designs on mobile phones which you can play songs like a mini radio. It’s like forcing people around you to listen to your stupid songs. And mobile phones play music like a speaker that’s going to explode in no time. Man…
Then there were these motorcyclists at checkpoint everyday. If you ever had been stuck there you’d know. If it was jammed up merely because of cars then it’s fine. Our cars will still move albeit slowly. If it was jammed because of motorcyclists then you’re dead. You’d be stuck there for one hour and you won’t be able to move more than 10 cars’ length.
They really behaved like pests, you know. When 2 cars from 2 lanes have to squeeze into one, there’re bound to be some space between these 2 cars and the car in front. Then these motorcyclists beside will immediately “infest” that space. It’s like bad cancer cells… I don’t know what’s the point of them to squeeze in there. They will still have to get back into motorcyclists’ queue. Well, pests are pests. I can never understand them as I, am NOT a pest. Hahahahahahaha…..

My camera~!
It was a true nightmare!
I dreamt for the 3rd time, 3rd time! that my camera (in underwater housing) was flooded! Oh my God! It was totally unbearable!
A diver's worst nightmare (other than safety issues, that is) is having his/her camera flooded! My camera is my most precious treasure.. =p I will not be able to take it if it's flooded.. that's why I've been having these nightmares...
In my dream yesterday I put my camera in the fish tank, taking photos. When I took in out only then I realised the housng was not properly closed, it was without the most important thing, the O-ring! And so the housing was flooded. I was so panicked! Then I hurriedly took out the camera and wiped it with a towel..
AND I said to myself, "This is a dream.. this is a dream.. it must be! It has to be~!"...
"Wake up! Wake up!" I continue to say to myself... but I didn't wake up... I was thinking "Shit oh shit..." I was on the verge of crying...
The dream was SO REAL...... it was so God-damn real!
After some really panicked moments, then only I really woke up.... Whew... What a relieve... man oh man... Please don't let me have this nightmare again!!!

Magnificent Trees
Took some photos while I was on the bus (in Singapore).

They are just so weird, criss-crossing its own branches here and there. If they can grow fast enough, their own branches might go right through each other… These photos here are not exactly the strange ones with weird branches criss-crossing each other.
I was on the bus, even if my digital camera is fast enough, the window (due to some angles) might cast reflection on the photo. These photos were taken when the bus stopped.

I think they are called “rain-tree”? Someone told me. And he also told me it was Mr Lee Kuan Yeow who decided to import these trees from, Africa I suppose?
A wise decision, I would say. They are really beautiful, majestic. Well.. perhaps majestic in a “slim” way…
THIS, in my opinion, is the REAL majestic ones, the baobab tree.

Truly magnificent, aren’t they?

They are also known as the upside-down trees.

For a moment there, I thought the 2 people there were statues……

One day, I hope, I will get to see the real baobab trees and not just the pictures.
