Hoorayyyy!!!! Malaysia will get at least silver medal in 2008 Beijing Olympics!!!!! We have not touch any medal since 1996!!! Soooo happy!!!
What a day!! Singapore's table tennis also won in semi final team event! They too will get at least silver medal! The game started from 2:30pm, there's no live broadcast on the net, only live result that refreshes every 15seconds, so I had been looking at the scores since then. The last game, was around my knock off time, I walked home super fast just to catch the last set between China and Korea. Damn such an exciting game! My heart almost jumpedut of my mouth. hahahah. Although it wasn't my country, but still, Singapore, our neighbour mah. Afterall, the players had been training for so long, very happy for them. They created history for Singapore.
And my heart haven't calm down, then started our badminton semi final. Le Chong Wei won first set without much trouble. But second set he lost without much trouble too! So I was very very nervous to watch the third game. In this new scoring system, you cannot afford to fall behind. Once you did, it's very very difficult to chase back the score. And LCW had been leading, at one point 7:1!! But later the Korean gave a good chase and LCW was 11 Korean was 10. Damn!! My heart almost stopped!! LCW played well, thank god he didn't make much mistake. And WE WON!!!!!!!! EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sooooo happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D
I hope both these two countries get gold and the government announce one public holiday for all!! hahahahahahaha.... Chances of Spore doing so is not high and they face a tough challenge facing the Chinese team. Msia LCW will face world number one Lin Dan. Hard to say too.. PRAY PRAY!!!!!!

Hard to laugh
I find it hard to laugh from the heart nowadays. People in the city are so fake.
I don't know. I just feel down.
Also also maybe because friends are drifting further apart as we grow older. So, hardly anyone's there to laugh with you...
Actually there's no subject in this post. I am just suddenly attacked by "down virus". Just want to grumble.
Find it no meaning to live like this. People always say must find a purpose in life. Purpose? Money. No money, there's only this much you can do, whether to help others or help yourself.
I wish I was born on secluded island. But of course, if I really was born on a secluded island, I would probably be dying to leave there and head for the city. It's all just nonsense talking.
When people talk to me (not close friends), sometimes I find that I have to "prolong" and fake my laugh a little bit. Else it'll look rude and cold. But I hate that. But we have no choice. This is just the way it is.

Dolphin shoes!
I had been wearing sandals or slippers on Fridays when I go back to JB. I don't like to wear sport shoes cos it's too hot... But slippers are of course, not comfy to walk for a long distance, considering sometimes I have to walk from Marsiling to Checkpoint then maybe across the Causeway.
What shoes to wear? Sandals are good but once they got wet it is extremely uncomfortable and it takes a longgg time to dry. Thinking to buy a Crocs. But I'm really poor now.

A S$5 school shoes. I used to wear these when I was schooling. Because I don't like those with shoe laces. I think these are very girlish and I liked them very much. I saw these in a neighbourhood shop, so I thought, why not? So I bought them.
Then I thought it's a little plain and sort of weird as I'm not a secondary student anymore, obviously... Actually these are the shoes that was very trendy some time back. But they draw cartoons and images on it which makes it very very pretty. But those in shopping malls, cost S$29 or so.. EXPENSIVE. I love it but I can't bear to say goodby to my S$29 in exchange with these shoes.
So, I decided to draw things on it myself. Ta-da-~
Yes, it's dolphins, AGAIN. Cos I am only good in drawing dolphins. Cos I have drew dolphins many many times... it's easiest and fastest for me. Actually I wanted to draw a Lilo and a Stitch. But the shoes material is too coarse. It will look really ugly if I have to draw fine details like eyes and lips. So, too lazy to think of anything else. Dolphins it will be. These are a bit boring.... but I'm really too lazy to draw other things like seaweed, corals, etc... So.. this'll do~

2008 Beijing Olympic (2)
Ok, the ceremony is finished. The last torch bearer, I don't know who he is, supposed to be one of the greatest athlete in China, but I don't know him. (9th Aug Note: He is Li Ning. The famous gymnast. I didn't hear his name when I watched the ceremony). He was lifted to the air after his torch was lighted, lifted to the top of the stadium. And with the help of cables he appeared to be running in midair. In the background, the paper scroll (electronic image) was unfolding ahead of him. But at one point, he was faster than the scroll.. But they managed to correct that.
He was really really high up, must be scary up there. After one round of "running", he pointed his torch to touch a wire or something. And the flame shot up a spiral cone shape thing into the cauldron.
My friends liked it. I didn't think it was all that awesome. It looked cool, as it was really really high up but I don't think it was difficult to achieve. Looks cool, but not exactly awesome.
So, my guess was right, I still like the Barcelona and Doha one. Barcelona's lighting method (lighted with arrow) was simple, but not so easy to achieve and without the help of advanced technology. Same it goes to Doha's. The idea was not complex either (horse run up the ramp). But again, not that easy to achieve for both the man and the stallion AND without the help of advanced technology. 2008 Beijing Olympic
Just watch the first half of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games opening ceremony. It started with 29 giant footsteps in the air made by fireworks. Very impressive, this one. The following performance, I personally didn't like it tremendously. But you have to take your hats off the Chinese people for their ability to do such things in such unison. I believe in the world, only Chinese and Japanese people can manage that. Not including maybe the Russian and North Korean army though.
In the beginning part, the Olympic symbol of 5 circles raised from the floor into the air, pretty awesome, like magic.
After that came the part of the Olympic theme song, performed by the amazing Sarah Brightman and a famous Chinese singer. Sarah Brightman dressed in a beautiful gown whereas the male Chinese singer....... T-SHIRT. Ya, t-shirt.. Gosh.... Why didn't he wear something formal??? A tuxedo or something. It's almost an eyesore seeing him standing next to the beautiful Sarah Brightman.
By the way, Sarah Brightman was really awesome. Although the song wasn't nice. This is Sarah Brightman's second performance in Olympic Games, amazing.
I looked back the passed major games opening ceremony, in particular, 1992's Barcelona Olympic and 2006's Doha Asian Games. These two are my FAVOURITES.
If I remember correctly, the 1992 Barcelona Olympic song was broadcast long before the game started. This should be the way isn't it.. Afterall the game is only 10+days. They should let people listen and learn the song. But China kept it a secret until the ceremony. They announced the singers only 1 day before the ceremony. Why the secrecy??? Everything is so secret with the Chinese. And may I say it again, the song wasn't nice at all. You hear it once and you'll totally forget it. (9th Aug Note: Ohhhh, how forgetful am I...?? I had been listening to the Beijing Olympic song over and over again on radio.. and I had been saying it wasn't nice. And I forgot about that completely..)
Whereas the Barcelona song, check it out here. It's a CLASSIC.

The lighting of the torch in the Barcelona game, was REALLY impressive. It was lighted by an arrow. Absolutely amazing. I believe watching that at that time, people must have hold their breath before the arrow fell into the cauldron.
And then there was the 2006 Doha Asian Games. I don't remember the song, was it the one sang by Jackie Cheung? Wasn't very impressive either. But the opening ceremony was EXTREMELY impressive. Especially the torch lighting part. The prince of Qatar rode on a stallion up an extremely steep ramp of 25 degrees. The horse almost slipped! as it was raining before. But the prince controlled the horse and reached the top to light the cauldron. Whew.. I remember my heart almost stopped when the horse stopped momentarily... Gosh, can you imagine the shame if the prince and the horse fail to reach the top and worse, tumble back to the ground??? Thank God that never happened. It was like watching the Arabian Night story.. A prince! On a horse! ha! Amazing. And btw, the prince is very handsome. hehe.

8 million
Strangely, I had not yearn to go diving that much in recent days. We have cancelled a trip in July. I can only go diving after lunar ghost month. So that means I will have a period of 3 months without diving, not a common thing for me while it is still diving season.
Perhaps it's because I am really out of money. Fucking run out of money. Last month our trip was cancelled and I was supposed to end the month with the money intended for the trip. But, gone. Everything gone. NO more money left, shit. I don't know where I spent those money.
I NEED money (who doesn't??). I need the 8million toto money that's giving out this Friday. I need money!!!!!!!!!!!

Fridays at checkpoint
Friday was first day of lunar Ghost Month. My Malaysian colleague said he expects there won’t be that many people because of the Ghost Month. Oh, how wrong was he…
The Spore Checkpoint was soooo packed when I reached there at 7+pm. And that day, the officers fenced up and controlled the number of people going into the queues of the access card lanes. It was a good thing.. Else we always squeeze like nobody’s business in the queue.. People behind will push no matter what, especially Indian ladies. I’m sorry to say this, but they like to squeeze and push. And they like to stay close, literally, “glue” to you in the queue. Oh it was soooo fucking annoying. And I hate the body contact, no matter what race they are. I also hate other girl’s long hair have any contact with my body, Indian or Malay or Chinese. And you know how long those Indian women’s hair can be..
I was in the “safe zone” (meaning people queue nicely when closer to the lane) when the railings was knocked to the floor. Immediately it was close to chaos, everyone ran to the queue. The officers kept yelling, “DON’T PUSH!! DON’T PUSH!” But no one was obeying. Everybody just wanted to get in the queue.
I think they should place 10 Gurkhas at the fenced area to control the people.
Why can’t those people understand? If everybody queues orderly we’ll get out of there faster. But no, they want to be the FIRST to get out of there, so everybody pushed and pushed. Sooner or later there’ll be accident happens if the checkpoint officers do not do anything about it. It’s getting from bad to worse. Probably because more people have opted to stay in JB and travel everyday now, since the rent went up tremendously.
It’s just plain annoying, to go through this every week. But I have to go home, and I don’t want to go home on Sat morning. So.. can only bear with it and curse whoever that pushed me.

Ajisen
I'm really tired now. Had been doing diving video these 2 months, almost everyday after work and few hours in every weekend as well. THis week had been really tired. My eyes feel swollen.
Anyway, after nearly 2 months (gosh!), it's finally completed. Won't be uploading it soon though, have to view it with my friends first.
Just now went eat Ajisen with Gabriel. I overeat every time I go Ajisen. Half a bowl of Ajisen ramen I'm full already. But I finished almost everything, almost. And I was so full till the verge of throwing up. hahaha... it's a torture really. But it's just sooooo tasty...........

My life
My life, as of now, is all about diving.
Nowadays I don't really fancy shopping, nor go clubbing with friends, etc. Almost everything I do is about diving. When I turn on my laptop, it's all about diving. Diving news, diving forum, underwater photography forum, edit my underwater photos, edit my diving holiday video.... everything diving.
People might think I have "no life". But that's just other people. I don't care what other people think. I am ok with my life now. I am happy to be able to dive. I am very poor financially, cos I spent every cent I have on diving. I am not rich... but I am satisfied that my little money can provide my diving trips.
So, I have a life. A life about diving, and I'm happy with it.

No desire
My friends have all advised me that I should try to find a new relationship. For my own good. Ya. But I have no desire to fall in love again. Sure, it will be sweet and happy to fall in love again. But I'm tired. I'm just left with no energy to love again.
The electricity "tripped" just now. Luckily the switch is not too high up beyond my reach (managed to switch it back to normal with the help of a chair and a stick).
When there's no one around, we have to do things on our own. I managed. But I am lonely. I chose this way. Friends will say you can easily change this by open my heart again. But I do not want to. As lonely as I am, I have no desire to fall in love again. Perhaps, this is my destiny.
Some things can be changed if we try hard enough. Some things are just beyond our control. Maybe in future, one day, beyond my control, I get really sick. And that my parents might have left me. When there's no one around to care for me, I'll go somewhere no one can find me, and die there. Perhaps, no one would even try to find me except my brother. I envy those being a nurse, for they have access to those deadly drugs. Death is within seconds.
I am not thinking to die now. But I always think of ways to die. For one day, maybe I'd get really sick and I'm all alone, and I NEED to die. My brother will be there, I know. But I do not wish to bring further burden to him. He has treated me more than great this life.

If I'm destined to be alone, I will be. Even if I try to change that. Even if I manage to find someone anyhow, perhaps he will die very soon. And I'll be all alone again. Incomplete sneeze
I haven't been doing sit ups when I go to gym. On Tuesday, I did a few sets. And the next day my abs hurt. Today is the second day. It usually hurts more on the second day.
And I've been having "incomplete sneezes" today... As my abdomen muscles are quite sore, when I sneeze, it hurts, and the sneeze stops halfway abruptly... man... have you experience an incomplete sneeze? Doesn't feel good. Just like when you feel like you want to sneeze but it just won't. Horrible feeling. I tried to "squeeze" my muscles and be in control, try to sneeze "softly"... but it didn't work.... I still have incomplete sneeze.......
