I've been good girl
It has never happened before, I mean such long period of time where I didn't throw tantrum. I used to always raise my voice to my parent, all the time. (I still raised my voice to my bro though..... though I think it's lesser now...) I think my mother is happier now, though both my parents would be much happier if they get to have holidays to China. My dad can't go now due to his need for kidney dialysis. Had it not been this case, my family would be a perfectly happy family. But we make the best out of worst situation, I guess...
It feels very good not bickering with my mother or father. I have been good girl :)

Kindergarten?
Man, I am like working with kindergarten people. I got fucking fed up and again I pasted a note in the pantry :
PLEASSSEEE fasten the sugar/coffee bottle cover PROPERLY after use!
The grammar is a bit incorrect... but I am too fed up to think properly. Some stupid man just placed the cover on the sugar bottle (never tighten it a bit), as if that settles it. @#*&$#*%&$*%& I cannot curse enough I am telling you. Doesn't he has a brain????!!!! arrrgghhhhhh!!!!

not cool in the train
The other day in the train, I saw the most handsome man I've ever seen in Spore. He's got those typical ABC kind of look, but he doesn't really look like Chinese, nor Malay, nor.. any race. Perhaps, he's a Thai? I wouldn't know. He's handsome alright, but! his behaviour is disgusting. He's a pole dancer. Don't get me wrong, not the real pole dancer. But those people who hogs the pole in the train by leaning on it and thus refrain other people from holding it. Hello?! The pole in the train is not there for people to "act cool" pleaseeeeee............. What if I turn to him and say "Excuse me, can you not be a pole dancer?"...
There was once an auntie (I think she's Korean) was leaning on the pole while my hand was holding it. SHe was really leaning on my hand. And I deliberately extend my knuckles to sort of "poke" her body. But she only realised it after a while. @#&*$^#&$^*How slow can they be???

My Soft Toy Family
First, my favourite doggie which I must hug when sleep every night~
Gab bought this for me from Watson. Doggie is extremely soft to cuddle. The above brown one stays in JB. The pink one stays Spore. So I get to hug either doggie wherever I am. When I bought the second one (pink) I was still working in JB. I bought a second one because I was kiasu, I scared the first one will spoilt and then I'll have nothing to hug... After that I started working in Sg, so I brought one over with me. At first it was the brown one, but the landlady's 9 year old daughter always come to my room and chat with me. And she always "manhandle" my doggie and I hated it. Totally hated it. Brownie (doggie's name) is softer than Pinky. Though same type of doggie, somehow Pinky is harder and tougher. So I brought back Brownie to JB and Pinky with me in Sg.
Every morning I woke up hugging either one of these doggies and I just hate to wake up. It is soooooo.... comfortable hugging the doggies. I will kiss doggie again and again until I really have to wake up... Brownie has never taken a bath before, I don't want to lose its special "scent". And I was afraid that they might not be so soft anymore after a bath/wash. Pinky has taken bath once. Fortunately it is still soft as ever~
Brownie and Pinky has went holiday with me. Brownie went to liveaboard at Redang with me. Pinky went to Tioman with me.
Gab bought this little one from Petrol kiosk. I've got 2 as well. Again, one in Sg, one in JB. JB one wears yellow shirt. It looks so adorable isn't it? Its ears can be tugged into the shirt's "hat".

This one was from Emirates Airline. I asked from my colleague who has a friend working in Emirates Airline as a stewardass. She's got about 40 of these dogs in her car....................... One day she drove to Msia, the custom officer kept questioning her about the doggies....He was wondering how come there are so many of them. Perhaps he suspect each of them has got drugs in it. I've got 2 of them. One I put on top of my monitor in office. One I stuck it in Miko's cage as her playmate. I stuck its head like that so Miko won't push it to the bottom of the cage, else it'll get urine all over.
See how Miko likes to squeeze with the doggie.

By the way, photos of Miko and its new mushroom house. She likes to rest in it now.

Another doggie of mine. I bought it during a Christmas, sponsored by my brother. Brownie and Pinky are kind of big to bring along for holiday. So I bring this doggie instead. I have to use something to cover my nose when sleeping in an air-cond room. But the fur of this doggie makes my nose itchy. So I switched to others. But I place this on the right of my pillow when I sleep.
Piggy here went diving trips with me for a few times as well. It's nice but its fibre inside kept sticking out and irritates my nose as well. So again I had to switch. This piggy now resides in my brother's car.
Bought this piggy just because it's very soft. It's only on my desk for decoration.
This is my newest piggy. I will bring this with me to Manado. I hope its fibre won't stick out.
My manager bought this for me from Beijing last week~ so happy. Although it looks kind of funny. But my company does not have the culture of buying souvenires for colleagues, only food stuff. So when I received this from my manager I was really happy.
There, these are my soft toy family. Hope you like them.

Counting down
However, every time I go away for holiday, I feel very heartpain to leave my Miko with the caretaker... Feeling really guilty. And I suddenly thought of my plan of going to Africa for maybe 2 weeks, when I have the money. Man.. If I leave Miko for 2 weeks, I wonder if she'd think she's been abandoned. 2 weeks.. I guess it's still ok.. but if 3 weeks......... heck, it's impossible for me to go away for so long. I don't have so many leaves. Going to Africa won't happen in near future anyway. I just hope so much she could understand me that I am just going for a short time.
There was a true story where a man lives by the sea, rescued a dolphin, and swim with it day after day. I think it continued for ... 4 years? Can't remember exactly. They swim and play together EVERYDAY since he rescued it. The man believe there was a strong friendship/bond between them. And one day he had to leave for a few months to settle some things. He was worried about how the dolphin would feel when he failed to show up at the usual time. But he had no choice.
When he finally returned, he went to the sea right away. He was apprehensive of whether the dolphin still there, and whether it would still accept him.
And the dolphin was there. But it kept a distance from this man. The man kept coaxing it using the dolphin's favourite toy-a plastic fish. After some time, the dolphin finally came close to him. And in the end, it accepted him as its friend again. You should look at the way they play with each other... So heart warming. This was shown in a documentary, I wonder if anybody reading this ever watch it.
Anyway, back to my Miko. I love my Miko soooo muchhhh. I bought her a mushroom house the other day. I showed it to her when she's out of the cage. She explored it a bit. And then I put the mushroom house in her cage. She went in to play with it. I sat outside the cage watching her play. After a while, she came to the cage door, and her front paws rest on my thigh, for quite some time, and I sayang her. I think she was thanking me for buying her a mushroom house
Every time before I go for my holiday I will tell her everyday, that I am going away for a few days. Tell her to be good and wait for me to come back. I hope she understands me.

Lessons from life
Lesson Number One :
A crow was sitting on a tree, doing nothing all day. A small rabbit saw the crow, and asked him, "Can I also sit like you and do nothing all day long?" The crow answered: "Sure, why not." So, the rabbit sat on the ground below the crow, and rested. All of a sudden, a fox appeared, jumped on the rabbit and ate it.
Management Lesson:
To be sitting and doing nothing, you must be sitting very high up. Otherwise, u're finish.
Lesson Number Two :
A turkey was chatting with a bull. "I would love to be able to get to the top of that tree," sighed the turkey, "but I haven't got the energy. "Well, why don't you nibble on some of my droppings?" replied the bull. They're packed with nutrients." The turkey pecked at a lump of dung and found that it actually gave him enough strength to reach the first branch of the tree. The next day, after eating some more dung, he reached the second branch. Finally after a fortnight, there he was proudly perched at the top of the tree. Soon the turkey was spotted by a farmer, who shot the turkey out of the tree.
Management Lesson:
Bullshit might get you to the top, but it won't keep you there.
Lesson Number Three :
When the body was first made, all the parts wanted to be Boss. The brain said, "I should be Boss because I control the whole body's responses and functions." The feet said, "We should be Boss as we carry the brain about and get him to where he wants to go." The hands said, "We should be the boss because we do all the work and earn all the money." And so it went on and on with the heart, the lungs and the eyes until finally the asshole spoke up. All the parts laughed at the idea of the asshole being the Boss. So the asshole went on strike, blocked itself up and refused to work. Within a short time the eyes became crossed, the hands clenched, the feet twitched, the heart and lungs began to panic and the brain fevered. Eventually they all decided that the asshole should be the Boss, and so the motion was passed. All the other parts did all the work while the Boss just sat and passed out the shit!
Management Lesson:
You don't need brains to be a Boss - any asshole will do.
Lesson Number 4:
A little bird was flying south for the winter. It was so cold, the bird froze and fell to the ground in a large field. While it was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on it. As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, it began to realize how warm it was. The dung was actually thawing him out! He lay there all warm and happy and soon began to sing for joy. A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate. Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung and promptly dug him out and ate him!
Management Lesson:
1) Not everyone who drops shit on you is your enemy.
2) Not everyone who gets you out of shit is your friend.
3) And when you're in deep shit, keep your mouth shut!
My favourite is the last one. So true, isn't it?~

Sandals..
I bought it like I have plenty of money, didn’t even care nor consider much about the price..... But I really like it. I wanted a pair of sandals that wraps around the foot but not those usual ones which has fabric as they get wet easily and takes forever to dry. I wanted a solely rubber one. It’s not that common. When I see people wear these type of sandals I like, I felt like asking them where they bought it...
21/3/07 note: this is the pic of my new sandals
I didn’t want too expensive ones from Nike, etc.. Though I like Nike, but I think it’s not that wise to spend so much on a pair of sandals. But when I saw that sandals I totally forgot about my considerations... This price, $39.90 is the same with some Nike/Adidas slippers… It actually looks ordinary... but I never cared…
When I got home then only I read the info on its box. It’s actually made in Brazil. The printings on the box talks about conservation of forest and rivers in Brazil, which makes this purchase feels a whole lot better
Anyway, wrote so much about a pair of sandals… I guess this post, is my attempt to justify my kind-of-senseless purchase........ hahahahahaa.....

Steven
So I sms Steven and told him about my dream. I added a “take care” at the end.
He replied, “I am still alive. Don’t worry.”

Our divers rescuing reef fishes caught by fishermen's er... what do you call that.. trap? Bubu?

I always like to see cuttlefish~~

This is a giant grouper, really big! At least 3meters long. I just had a 2second glimpse and it went hide among the rocks.... Very lucky to catch this photo.. I just anyhow press the shutter from above. Too tired to go down there to chase it....

Dive shop boss Akemi~ She had red eyes... so had to wear the sunglasses. I love diving with them as they provide more than sufficient water when we go out on boat.

I can't figure out what this is...

A dying jellyfish.... poor thing...

That's so stuuuuupid
Takashimaya, everybody goes Takashimaya. Everybody goes from Wisma Atria to Taka. I have to see the signs to find my way to MRT/Atria/Taka... can you believe it?
And one day, Gab was waiting for me at the pick up point/taxi stand. Holding one magazine in my hand, an ice-blended mocha and a latte for him, I walked round and round like an idiot. And after so much walking I still couldn't find the taxi stand. Gab called me and said it's at Cartier/Tiffany there. I refered to the directory, then only I found my way. How stttttuuuupid can I be????
The other day, I drove to a place, I parked the car at block 3 but later the shop I wanted to go is at block 2. I got what I wanted to buy. ANd guess what... I could not find the correct car park!!!!! Aaarrgghhhhhh... Why am I so stuuuuuupid???? It's just the next block... But I just couldn't find it until perhaps 10minutes later............... Uuurggghhhh....
ST said I am not stupid as I know how to read map since many girls can't. But girls can "navigate" well in shopping malls! I can even get lost in the famous shopping malls or best still, lost between 2 HDB blocks.... Geez..... Plain stupid.
I haven't been to Vivocity. I heard you can get lost in there. I better not go alone. wahahahaha...
