Hijau - Zainal Abidin

Yesterday's (or today? damn poor memory..) newspaper featured an interview of Zainal Abidin. er... I can't even remember did I read it in hardcopy paper or on the internet.... can neither remember was it an article in Chinese or English... what a mess in my brain...??? His well-known song, Hijau, is already 10 years on. I love that song. The melody is kind of eccentric. It talks about environment. I can't find the translation.. anyway, it's a beautiful song.

Finally get to dive Tioman this year, it's already July... 3, 4more months left before diving season ends in East Coast Msia. Tioman's corals are very healthy, so happy to see that. BUT, the fishes are getting less and less, like a forest without animals, very lonely, desserted feeling. HOwever it's always nice to go for a short diving trip at Tioman.

This is, if not mistaken, juvenile sweetlip, theso called "agogo-fish" because it swims like it's doing agogo dance.

I thought this is a cute video I've taken in Phuket. It was a crab filtering food from sand.

My poor Xiao Hei...

I was wrong, small as they are, their bites can be really painful... However, their are soooo adorable.. look at my Xiao Bai (means : the little white one) sleeping. SSSSoooooo irresistably cute, aren't they?

My poor Xiao Hei (means : the little black one)... Her right leg got caught between the water bottle holder and the cage bar... It squeaked quite loudly in the middle of the night, I thought they were fighting so I just let them be. But the squeak sound didn't stop. I woke up about 5-10minutes later to check on them... To my horror, Xiao Hei was hanging in the middle of the cage.... My Godddddd...................................... I pulled the cage bar wider and she dropped to the bedding... I didn't take her out immediately as she must have been in fright.. The next morning I took her out, and see how she walks, I think her right leg is gone case... It has blackened... And she is now cripple... dragging the leg while walking............... sooooo poor thing...... I think she is unfortunate to have me as the owner. I must have brought her bad luck. I think I always own things which are damaged when I bought it or imperfect things. So I think Xiao Hei is bad luck. Because her owner is me, so she "had to become imperfect".........Look at them sleep.. so kawaiii......

BIGGG difference compare their size with my Miko~ I felt like I am a mum having second child. hahaha... I was a bit scared that Miko will feel jealous. So I make sure I spend enough time with her as before.

I couldn't resist to buy this sand bath ceramic er... thing... what do you call that anyway...?
I really hope Xiao Hei's injury won't affect her too much. She is still very active. I hope she'll be a happy baby despite her injury...

Hamsters~

Had been so busy, no time to write...

Yesterday I saw those tiny little hamsters at a pet shop... I couldn't resist... and the shop assistant who is an Indian but speaks perfect Chinese, he was so nice and patience. In the end I bought 2 hamsters~......

I intended to call one Jessica, another Alba.. hahaha... but I think it's better with Xiao Hei, Xiao Bai. They will bite me when I carry them out. But their teeth are too tiny to cause pain. They are sooo adorable... They are only about the size of my Miko's ear...... hahaha..... I can't wait to go home and play with them...
