On 3rd day of CNY, the girls came to my house. Natasha and EK very red~

First time I wore a cheong sam top. Really love it.

Ek's new hairstyle is so cute~

I really don't know how to pose for photos..

This is on 7th day of CNY. Gathering at Dickson's place. Took some photos before I leave home, cos my hair was really "obedient" that day and I love it~!

I love this picture~ thanks to the wind~

Patrick's daughter Wen Xuan, she's so much fun~!

Didn't expect her to be so active! Such a cute girl.

Ah Qiang's second son~ "En En".

THe guys.

Last year was "sportscar", this year is motorbike. haha.

I hardly have any photos of my tattoo. THanks to Calvin who took this pic~

ISn't this pic so sweet ? Looks like Gigi's daughter.

Love this pic! Xuan Xuan just soooo cute. A lot of expressions~

We hardly meet our friends nowadays, since everybody is busy with their families and work. Even though most of us meet once a year, it's something that appreciate :)

Macro series - Sony A330

When I first got my macro lens, I didn't really know how to take nice photos with it and was so disappointed. Now, I'm finally having fun with it, once I know how its characteristic.

This preying mantis is about 1.5cm long, very tiny. I think it now lives on one of our plants. It's there day and night.

So good that it lives there, I can practise macro photography with it! Ready-subject.
This was taken at a nursery.

The same preying mantis, I named this photo "Pickaboo".

Some other photos :

This is my favourite shot. I love the colours.

This is a sunflower.

Do you know what this is? Tapioca leave.

I quite like this photo too. It's very mundane until I added the words.

A weed from my garden.

Love this pic! Saw this spider, it's quite big, lucky it's big and so I saw it very fast. Very quickly composed and took this shot. After this shot it went back to its hide out.. Thankfully I got it in good focus.
I have better control of the manual focusing using viewfinder now. But I think I will have a lot of crowsfeet on my left eye (I see using my right eye).... What a big sacrifice.....

Everything nature (4)

Few days of CNY holiday, I had a lot of fun shooting around in my garden with my dslr.

Notice anything special in this photo?

Notice the two "things" sticking out?

My bro said it's some insect's eggs. A closer look.

Brilliant sunset yesterday. I quickly ran in the house to get my camera. You know how fast sunset disappears.

Just so magnificent~

I took a torch, shining on plants to look for bugs, insects. My bro asked me what was I looking/searching for. I said, "ANything~!"

Can you see anything here?

It's spiderlings. There were every where~!

I've never seen so many spiderlings at one go in my life! So adorable!
It felt so much like I was doing a night dive. In the sea I was taking photos of crabs, on land, spiders. It's so similar!! Really bring back memories...

Imagine a deep voice saying "Hhheeelllllooooo ... hhhaaappppyyy nnnneeewww yyeeeaaarrr.."

Guess it's mating season for these. They were everywhere, mating day and night.
I'm beginning to have fun with my dslr~ loving it!
