Ong Bak~~~

I just watched the movie Ong Bak after so long it's been shown at cinemas. 3 words for this movie :
OH MY GOD~~~~

I love the leading actor Tony Jaa~~~ He's not very handsome but Oh My God was he cool or what~ I watched his fighting scenes over and over again. How did he do that? And afterwards I read that the movie, unlike Jackie Chan's, was made without wires, without double stuntman, without any digital alteration. Muay Thai looked so elegant and cool to me now. hahahahahahaha..

Tony Jaa looked really handsome after I watched the movie. hahaha... I searched the web then. And found out that he looked up to Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan since he was very little and determined to be an action star since then. So he learnt Muay Thai. And he practised like from 5am to 10am everyday.. Man... really determined he was. And it paid off now.

I loved Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan and Jet Lee. But Bruce Lee is dead, and both Jackie Chan and Jet Lee are becoming old and not that charming anymore. Now,ha! Tony Jaa~ he'll be the one I'd be looking forward to see in my dreams from now on. hahahahahahaha.... perhaps I'll speak some Thai with him in my dreams. oh hohohohohoho.......

Reality Show/Celebrity Wannabe

Nowadays you can't turn on the tv without seeing a reality or superstar or xxxxx idol show.

Everybody wants to be a star now. And it's easier than ever to be a star in this era. There're endless competitions for anyone to take part in. Before you're even in the final you will probably have fans waiting for you outside the tv studio already.

What I hate about these shows is, why the hell does everyone who has lost or kicked out of the competition had to cry????!! It's just one competition for crying out loud. I don't see people crying like that at funerals anymore but at these shows... And it's not just girls who cried, the men too. What is wrong with this world?? What happen to the macho men? What happen to our teaching of 男人流血不流泪 ?? Yes, the new generation consider man who cry, I should say, who is not afraid to shed tears, as sentimental, affectionate. And I respect that. But for a goddamn competition? Come On~ If you really want it that much to be a star then go and take part in other competition! Cry for what??!!

Watching too much of these shows is not good. It instil a "kiasu" culture amongst the youngsters. You'll notice how the kids nowadays dread losing... Little kids, they can become depressed for losing in one competition. I guess telling them " 失败乃成功之母" is of no good anymore.. sigh... What has the world become??

Irritating human pests

There are some people I would classify them as human pests. I’m sure anyone will, well, somehow agree.

I was in the MRT yesterday. There it was, this pest, used his (I assumed it was a he) mobile’s MP3 player function to play this stupid heavy metal songs aloud. And I mean ALOUD. The whole 3 cars of people can hear it and were turning to see which idiot was playing such loud “noise” (I wouldn’t call THAT “music”). It was lucky that he’s in the last car of the train so it affected only 3 cars or carriages, whatever you call it. Else, he would have disturbed all the people in 5 or 6 cars.

I couldn’t take it and I left to other seats in the front cars where I can have a peace of mind.

I really disagree on these new designs on mobile phones which you can play songs like a mini radio. It’s like forcing people around you to listen to your stupid songs. And mobile phones play music like a speaker that’s going to explode in no time. Man…

Then there were these motorcyclists at checkpoint everyday. If you ever had been stuck there you’d know. If it was jammed up merely because of cars then it’s fine. Our cars will still move albeit slowly. If it was jammed because of motorcyclists then you’re dead. You’d be stuck there for one hour and you won’t be able to move more than 10 cars’ length.

They really behaved like pests, you know. When 2 cars from 2 lanes have to squeeze into one, there’re bound to be some space between these 2 cars and the car in front. Then these motorcyclists beside will immediately “infest” that space. It’s like bad cancer cells… I don’t know what’s the point of them to squeeze in there. They will still have to get back into motorcyclists’ queue. Well, pests are pests. I can never understand them as I, am NOT a pest. Hahahahahahaha…..

My camera~!

It was a true nightmare!

I dreamt for the 3rd time, 3rd time! that my camera (in underwater housing) was flooded! Oh my God! It was totally unbearable!

A diver's worst nightmare (other than safety issues, that is) is having his/her camera flooded! My camera is my most precious treasure.. =p I will not be able to take it if it's flooded.. that's why I've been having these nightmares...

In my dream yesterday I put my camera in the fish tank, taking photos. When I took in out only then I realised the housng was not properly closed, it was without the most important thing, the O-ring! And so the housing was flooded. I was so panicked! Then I hurriedly took out the camera and wiped it with a towel..

AND I said to myself, "This is a dream.. this is a dream.. it must be! It has to be~!"...

"Wake up! Wake up!" I continue to say to myself... but I didn't wake up... I was thinking "Shit oh shit..." I was on the verge of crying...

The dream was SO REAL...... it was so God-damn real!

After some really panicked moments, then only I really woke up.... Whew... What a relieve... man oh man... Please don't let me have this nightmare again!!!
