Aiyo, my Miko was so cute~ (typical "parents" - own son/daughter is the cutest) Yesterday night, while she was out, I was very tired. Laid in the bed and almost fall asleep. A few times she jumped onto the bed and waited for me to sayang her, which usually I would. But yesterday I was tired, and didn't sayang her and continue to sleep.

I couldn't remember exactly cos I was half asleep but I think she nibbled my hand a few times, and jumped closer to my head when I didn't sayang her. That's so cute~ I didn't think she would do that. Thought she will jumped away when I ignored her.

Our Borneo forest is shrinking, thanks to the loggers, and thanks to us, the consumer's insatiable appetite for wooden furnitures, papers, etc. (Btw, "Double A" papers are made from sustainable plantation, so use Double A)

And the shrinking of our forest is affecting the life of the indigenous people there. Read here :

An abstract from the article : "Padang (a person) still wore a loincloth, something only the older members of the tribe do now, but the effect was somewhat slightly offset by the presence on his wrist of a digital watch, whose numbers flickered in the forest gloom." Wearing a loincloth, plus a digital watch, that's so cute... But what does he need a watch for in the forest? hahaha.... maybe it's a gift from visitor.

Anyway, on the serious side, it really isn't easy for them to fight againts the loggers, which according to the article, have got political backers. That's so sad... I really think we should give them some space. After so many years, so much development, they still live the way since many generations back. We should leave them alone, should not take away their home...

People in the forests, respect their forests. Why can't people in the city respect and protect our forests too? It's just sad. The recent "Live Earth" concert, trying to create awareness among us people about saving our planet. Personally, I am touched by the effort. I look up to Al Gore. The concert did not really reach a big amount of audience, sadly. And people just went there to see the concert, I don't think a large percentage of people give a damn about conservation. Some people may be converted, most don't, I think. See the garbage left behind by them after the concert. So ironic. But would I change my way of life for conservation? A little. I won't say a lot. Because, actually I think human species is doom for sure, sooner or later. The way we produce carbon dioxide, the way we cut down trees, the way we catch fish, population growing ever faster... look at how the ice in the poles are melting... we have a bleak future.

My "Mii" in Wii

Introducing myself~ this is me (Mii) in Wii. My name is Miki-chan. Am I lovely or am I lovely? I was playing bowling in Wii. It rrreeeeeaaalllyyy feels like real bowling. My bowling ball often "looks like going into the right longkang.. but at the end it turns and go into the left longkang"... I didn't understand at which point my wrist has turn and causes such thing to happen. In this Wii bowling too my ball will turn in the end. It's really fun.

Damn! I was coughing and used too much force and I lost control and I made a loud fart.

Transformer, the talk of the week. I haven’t catch the movie but all I heard is good stuff, from the people who watched it.

Yesterday on 98.7FM, Daniel Ong and the other lady DJ (don’t know her name) were talking about it.

Imagine YOU, one day, all of sudden, being abducted by aliens. Aliens who think it's fun to eat you while you still can move and breathe. So, aliens wrap your head with a towel. Prepare a HUGE pot of EXTREMELY hot oil, clouds of extremely hot air rising from the oil. The air alone is hot enough to burn... Then, DIP YOU INTO THE OIL until just below your neck! BBBBBZZZZAAARRRRRRRRR............................. the extremely hot oil engulfs you..! Extreme pain cuts in like a thousand knives immediately, right into your heart.. you cannot breathe... too painful to breathe... you feel your skin becoming harden... crusty... bubbles are forming beneath your skin... bubbles explode..... every bubble explosion is unbearable.... you wonder why are you in a pot of extremely hot oil.. you wonder what have you done to deserve this..... your flesh is losing touch with your bone... almost cooked... you think of your family... you will never get to see them again... then your thoughts come back to the pain... it's almost gone! because you are almost cooked, except your head...

Then...it's almost over... it'll be over soon... you are now being served... you are put on a big plate... wait a minute, it's not over yet... oh no! oh no!!! something is being pour on you! Extremely hot gravy! Oh no... the extremely hot gravy touches your neck, near your head... your flesh around your neck is not fully cooked... and the pain.. oh the pain.. you thought it was over... yet you feel pain once again..... you wonder why are they so cruel... why not cut your throat and let you die first....

Finally.. this time it really is going to be over.... aliens gather around you... they snatch your flesh... you can no longer feel it....... bcos your flesh is fully cooked.. your flesh separates from your bones easily.. but you can see it.. you see yourself being eaten.. alive... or half alive...? you can no longer be sure... your life is fading.. yet it is not fading fast enough... you still can see the aliens' faces.. ugly faces... with your flesh between their teeth........ slowly... they eat and laugh.. commenting on how you taste... some like it... some don't... some spat your flesh out... "my flesh..." you thought... but it doesn't matter... nothing matters anymore... you can now see your bone even.. cos they are almost finish eating you.... then a kid alien comes over... "it" uses a fork like thing, extremely sharp like the aliens' teeth.. "it" pokes you right in your cheek! Arrghh..... let me die... you think... let me die please..... but no.. you cannot die just yet... The kid alien thinks it is fun... it pokes that thing right in your eye next! and dig out your eye ball!! and the other come over and tries to pull out your tongue!! AARRGGGGGGHHHHHHhhhhhhhhh.............. slowly... you cannot hear yourself anymore.. finally... you are fading.. your life is leaving you... Good, you think.... good... may these aliens... go to hell.. ....one.... day...... so long... and you died. Finally.

Great Wall of China

Know the recent fuss about the new 7 wonders of the world? China's Great Wall of China has been voted one of them.

Did you notice how people, even tv broadcaster always say "the only structure that's visible from the space"? Actually it is not true. It cannot be true. Yes the GWoC is very long (and magnificent and spectacular blahblahblah) but the structure is too narrow to be seen from space. Read it here at Wikipedia. Yes I know Wiki is not always right. But logically speaking, the GWoC really is not wide enough to be visible from space.

So why is everybody saying the opposite? Puzzles me.

And people from China when being interviewed always give the standard answer "Yes we are very proud of GWoC. We are very proud as a China people." Blah blah blah. I never really agree with such sentiment. I may be a bit on the radical side, I know. What I feel is, everybody can be proud of the GWoC or any other significant structures, buildings as a human being on earth, NOT just the citizens of the country. Cos we are all the same. You and I are all humans. HUMANS built it. Europeans, Indians, Chinese, etc etc, are all humans. We are not much different from each other.

Like wise, I always ponder, what is nationalism? So what you are British and I am Fijian or whatever? We just happened to be born on that particular piece of land. You and I are not much different. What I am trying to say is, we should have "earthism" rather than nationalism. We are all born on earth. We should love our earth and protect it like how people love their nation. But we're not. Humans are virus of the earth. Ironic.

p.s. Why do people feel proud of GWoC when so many people died building it? hmm...

Transport encounters...

Yesterday in the bus, I was using my electronic dictionary, didn’t notice the passengers that got on. I did not see the face of the woman who was standing beside me. I can only see her face if I really look up. What I saw was she was wearing loose clothing and she has a bit of a tummy. I wondered if she is pregnant. Then she sort of caresses her tummy like pregnant women do. So I thought she is pregnant. Thus I stood up and gave my seat to her.

BUT! Turned out she is not pregnant........well, I don’t think she is lah. She looks a bit old, but not THAT old that will prompt people to give up seat for her. And I think she is not pregnant, perhaps just a typical mother who has had a few kids (thus the tummy) and who doesn’t care much about her appearance. Wah, a bit paiseh (embarrassed) leh… She must be wondering why was she given a seat when she is not THAT old and not pregnant........ BUT she took the seat anyway.

Then last week, in the train, there was this woman, with her boyfriend. She is quite pretty but kind of fleshy and plump. By the way, her boyfriend is really really sloppy... ew.... And then, the seat beside me emptied, she hurriedly came and took the seat. BUT, she’s so eager to take the seat and she sat on the flesh of my thigh!!!!!!!!! Uuurgghhh............it’s painful, ok?! She is big size. Why so desperate to take a seat??!! The seat was spacious! So many years I’ve been taking the train, I have NOT been sat on before! Walao eh... so sueh (unfortunate)........

Wii~

Previously ShiXiong put his tag line in MSN : "Wah, my bro bought Wii". Now it's my turn to say "Wah my bro bought Wii". It was really fun playing the Wii Sport~ Baseball, tennis, bowling and boxing, all were fun~ and will sweat after playing them, which is good. The other games which the character goes and search for things, that one I really couldn’t play… I will get motion sickness in no time~! Hahaha…… If I were to play those I better take motion sickness pill… very funny… suffer motion sickness by sitting there on my sofa…

I got too excited playing the tennis that I hit a plant on the coffee table… I played very seriously and hit with quite strong force… so funny… Can’t wait to go home on this weekend and play again~!
