Some pics from my bro's trip(2)

I missed out the most interesting photo of my bro's trip. This er.. I forgot was in Poland or Prague... Their vege... so colourful and weird~!

I like the big red one, like giant acorns. The ones beside, notice the white little one (at bottom right corner) and the yellow/black ones, they are the same vege~! How weird is that?? Wonder how they taste like.

Even these fruits seem very "fairy tales" to me. I was saying to ST, all those Europe photos have a very "fairy tale" feel about it. But then, most fairy tales we read were written by Europeans, of course Europe has fairy tale feel. hahaha... how stupid can I be.

Some pics from my bro's trip

These are some very "humorous" statues in Vienna..

This is supposed to be the American and Australians, who are natives, the Indies (or Indian is the correct word?) and the aborigines.

And THIS, the civilised people, are the Europeans. Very funny

I think of all the 7 countries my bro visited, I like Spain the most. I still remember when I was in secondary school, my classmates and I went chased after some junior angmoh volleyball players when they were here for a tournament. We liked the Spanish, Dutch, Polish players the most, EK and I even went to their (Spanish players) hotel and waited outside their rooms~!! We were really crazy, great memories though. Thereafter, I've always hope I can go to the Spain one day. But I'm a poor girl, I wonder when will I have the chance to go to Spain.

And my bro said Spanish are among the most friendliest, French being the most hostile ones, if you do not speak French. I guess everybody knows that, but it's really bad, the treatment, as if it's your fault not being able to speak French.

The Sagrada Familia of Antonio Gaudi. It's amazing to see how many sculptures and carvings there are on this building.
But this gothic style building, has very cute parts... fruits on the tips...
Simply magnificent..

This photo was taken in Park Guell, also designed by Antonio Gaudi. I love it I love it I love it! I has a very "fairy tale" feeling about it. Like the 面包屋. So cute, isn't it~!

This was from the National Museum in Prague. I think it's a kind of lemur specimen. But I don't know why its eyes/iris is like that.. very funny. Perhaps their iris shrink during day time like cats do.

This is the astrology clock in Prague. Those appear in the windows in turn are Jesus's 12 disciples. And I thought it's Snow White's 7 dwarfs~! hahahahaha....

Squirrels in UK are not afraid of human at all. How cute~~!!!!
Wish I can get a hold on one~

My gifts from Europe~

My bro is back from Europe~ He took over 2000 photos in 3+weeks.. That's gonna take a longgg time to organise....

He bought 4 gifts for me, I told him I expect I'd have at least 5 gifts. hahaha...

This Swarovski crystal he bought me, not so ex in Euro but already over a hundred in Ringgit... And I think it's too ex.

No, the dog is not my gift, it's the dolphin bookmark.

This shark pendant is very special, it has two sides.

This is bought in Czech Republic. It's a real fossil~

I arranged my gifts with my doggies. My precious doggies.

My navel pierce!

I've got my navel pierced!!!! I'm soooo... happy!!!!

I was out with my friends Brenda and Winnie in the afternoon for coffee. I thought why not go for the navel piercing I've wanted for ages.

I was nervous as hell even before meeting them for coffee. Afterwards, seeing the huge number of crowds in town, I almost wanted to go home as I didn't call to book the time for piercing. Brenda, who accompanied me said we can just go and check it out. So we went to Heeren's Body Decor Tattoo & Piercing.

The piercing artist has only one customer to serve at that time. I can have mine done after that. The artist was a lady. I felt much better by this fact. Her name is HP. She was very friendly. I asked if it's gonna hurt more than tattoo... She asked me where my tattoo is, I said on the back of my shoulder and tummy. She then said, "OOHHH! It's gonna hurt MUCH less than your tummy tattoo!!" She asked me did my tummy tattoo hurt. "Hell yeah!"..I said. Hurt a lottt... She said I've chosen a sensitive area for tattoo and assured me that a navel pierce is in no way as painful as that. Besides, it takes only 5 seconds, whereas my tattoo took 40minutes. She asked me to returned after 15minutes as she needed to sterilise the navel stub I've chosen.

By the way, the piercing cost S$35, the titanium stub I chose cost... er... S$36? I was too darn nervous to notice the price she told me. I didn't even care how much she gave me my change...

I was nervous as hell in the next 15min before returning to the shop. That 15min passes very fast I was shaking...

So then I entered the room. She sterilise my navel and marked the spot and then I lay on the bed. I told her I didn't want to look and she laughed and said, "You can't see it anyway." I also warned her the possibility that I might just faint... hahaha.... She then used the clamp to clamp my belly button. I used my hands to block my view... She laughed again and said, "You really don't have to be so dramatic cos you really can't see..." hahahah...so paiseh... She asked me to tell her if the clamp hurts me too much. I just felt tight, didn't hurt. She clamped it tighter and asked me how I felt. I said it was fine. Then I felt the kneedle went in and that's it~!! It didn't hurt AT ALL~!! Yes I did feel the kneedle but it really wasn't painful~ She said the worst part is over. I was expecting it will hurt when she removed the kneedle and insert the stub. But I felt nothing. And I asked her "THAT'S IT??" She said, "YEAH~~".

Brenda who was sitting beside asked me did it hurt? I said, "NO~~!" I had been worried for nothing! haha... I shall not be too happy just yet as navel pierce takes a long time to heal and it is very prone to infection. Pray pray it's gonna heal fine.

I said to the artist I should have done this much earlier~! She said yeah~ it's so difficult to convince people it actually doesn't hurt much. My tummy tattoo was so painful, therefore I thought this too will hurt but it DIDN'T HURT AT ALL~~~(should be because the clamp was very tight and couldn't feel the pain, that's what the piercer said) hahaha... how amazing that it didn't hurt... And here's my new navel pierce~:

p.s. The next day, I am worried that I might have cause the stub to move around too much so now.. I'm stressing myself out.... restricting my movements and posture... and now my tummy muscle couldn't relax... and I feel uncomfortable... very stupid...

Cells of boredom

I think I am going to explode out of boredom. The cells of boredom in my body are duplicating fast and are at boiling point.

If that's really the case. I would have been in pieces by now, blown to pieces.

Yeow Shun's Wedding (2)

Some other photos from KR.

KR and MS. Nice smiles~

MS and dear husband Dickson

The crazy people. hahahahaha.... but it's always good fun~

Group photo, MS not in the picture.. She was sitting (lying?) at the table beside... I think ST was helping MS at the side as well. CK & Yap were with Dickson I supposed, taking his car over.

Nothing particular...

It's 1:35 am. I don't really have anything particular to do. But I just refused to sleep. I don't know why.

I've been on roller coaster ride again. Happy for 2 days, then started indulging in sorrow again.

It's always like this.

If only people can get drunk and not having the horrible hang over. I've had it once (or twice?) and it's enough. It's really horrible, the hang over. Panadol won't help. Only time will help. Like in cases of "love wound". Only time will heal.

What if it doesn't....? What if it doesn't....?

Love him for who he is

I was watching some videos in www.news.com.au , it's Steven Irwin's wife, Terri's interview clips.

It's just so heartbreaking still. Every word she said touched my heart deeply. She had enjoyed EVERY SINGLE moment she had with Steve. Recalling her relationship with Steve, the relationship between Steve and their children, it's just so devastating to remember the fact, that Steve has left this world. My tears once again, had ran down my cheek. After almost 2 months, still... it's sad. And he's not even remotely related to me. It's just... Steve and Terri had such a great relationship, you can feel how much she loved him from every word she said... She said, she had the greatest 14 years (with Steve) in her life. If she know how it would ends, she'll still choose the same path......

Steve had a wonderful relationship with his children too. Just like Bindi said, "He was always there for me when I needed him" and "Most of all, he was fun".

Steve was like a big kid, always having fun, almost turning their home upside down at times. But Terri never asked him to "stop doing that".

It's a relationship that everyone hopes to have. Steve was Terri's prince charming, her soul mate. She loved him with all she's got. And she said, "I loved him for who he is."

I know how that feels.

Love him for who he is.

One really has to learn, love him for who he is. I didn't put "love him/her for who he/she is" as I normally would. Because, more often than not, it's the woman that asks more from the man.

My believe is, if you cannot love him for who he is when you haven't tie up the knot, then be careful when making your big decision. Girls are foolish. Foolish in believing that men will change after marriage. They never will. Every guy can tell you, they never will. Except one or two in a million who is too overly devoted to love, who place love over his career. This is not the man you'd want, seriously. I'm not saying a man should put his career above everything else including girlfriend or wife or family. But those men who see love as the number 1 important thing in this whole world is... dangerous. Men shouldn't behave this way. This kind of men are probably very possessive. So it's dangerous.

Everything in this world revolves around Yin and Yang, moderation and balance between things. Love, work, personal life, family, friends are all equally important. Too much of any, will be harmful to the others.

Have your personal life, then you won't rely too much on your other half to create happiness in life. When girls are bored, we'll create problems, we'll ask questions, we'll dig tiny holes into bigger holes, then we'll have problems for us to solve to kill our time. hahaha.. but seriously, it is a problem. We shouldn't allow ourselves to be bored, else we will create problems. Girls are born like that.

I think I digressed a little...

I just suddenly feel so...blue.... Those who has an apple, thinks that the apple taste awful. Those whose apple has rotten, is thankful that she once had that apple. Those who knows of a delicious apple that she can't reach, is writing this blog.

What the hell am I writing, you might ask? Never mind. It doesn't matter. Just my usual nonsense.

Yeow Shun's wedding~

It was so much fun at my "爷爷" Yeow Shun's wedding~ Honestly, I haven't laughed that much for a very long time. I laughed until my cheek hurt. And there were soooo many funny stuffs during our badminton session (with ah Yap, ah Qiang, Patrick, CK and me) yesterday noon. I was actually very happy these 2 days.

Anyway, so, tis the day we celebrate another friend's greatest day, the wedding day.

I went shopping with ST in the afternoon, we got what we've wanted, very happy. We're one of the very first who arrived at the dinner. We saw "小胖" already there. Oops, no lah, it's "晓芳". Not that she's fat.. It's my "aging" hearing ability misheard Yeow Shun(YS) said "小胖".

We were too early and there's nothing to do. So we played with photoshoots. hehe...

By the way, all photos in my camera can be seen here : My album

ST and Yap, the loving couple.

ST and me

Me, pretending to be a wine connoisseur~ I love this pic~ cos it didn't show my recently-regained-double chin!!!

Now ah Yap's turn. It was so funny, we all can't stop laughing. People might be looking at us... as if we never drink red wine?... hahahahaha....

Then KR came. We continued the "acting". (Because the photo in my camera, KR doesn't like how she look, the photo in her camera, I don't like how I looked, so... I resort to this. kekekekekekeke)

Long time no see, Yoke Teng and Yong Kang. There were many SAB friends that night. Time flies... over 10 years never see each other... man...

The "Four Beauty"..... ST, me, KR & MS.

Yap and ST. Very nice photo.

Now it's "The 6 Beauty". KR, YT, ST, YK, MS and me.
YK and ST.

The "minis"... Siew Lee and me.

SL and ST.

Now, before you said "photographer so lousy, couldn't even take a photo with ppl in the center", I did it on purpose. With the bridegroom and bride's name shown behind as a background. Always take photos with people in the middle is bbboring.

YK, me, YT and gigi. For your info, Gigi isn't that short, and I ain't that tall. He "adjusted" his height to suit me. kekeke...

The "hardly seen" CE (my Shixiong) and KR.

My camera is not meant to be used by the "ordinary people". Just kidding... People might just say, my camera is lousy therefore no anti-shake. But nolah, using slow shutter speed mode, no matter what brand of camera, anti-shake or no anti-shake, you must have steady hands in order to produce a nice photo. 3 photos were taken. But all of them blurred.. So no choice. From left (standing), the groom YS, Patrick, Gigi, me, CK, (sitting) ah Qiang, Ki Shun(? forgot how to spell), CE, KR, Patrick's wife Xin Hui and Qiang's wife and our long time friend Xiao Mei.
This photo is from KR, better.

Every time I see Shi Xiong, must take a photo.

A photo of Gigi singing, with the bride and groom in the foreground.

SL's turn, as the star for that moment. I sang too. I hesitated for a long time, to sing? or not to sing? I wonder if it's by my own courage or the influence of alcohol and made me go "Ah what the heck, sing sing lah". hehe Don't have my photo in my camera.

Finally got a nice photo of the couple. They marched in too fast.. didn't get to catch a nice photo until this one. The bride was just so pretty. And the groom is handsome too of course~

Now here goes the fun.

Gigi... red wine really isn't supposed to be drink like this man, a waste of the wine. hahahaha.. Next time we should use beer lah.. If people see us drinking wine like beer, bottoms up bottoms up, they'd shake head.........

The couple sang a song~ They're good~

The man on the right, Kai Long, he doesn't know Dickson (center)!!!!!!!!!! And yet he hugged him like an old time friend and drink and drink and drink..!!!!!! I gestured Dickson over, "你们很熟啊?" knowing fully well of the answer. Dickson said, "Ehm, 我不认识他!" hahahahaha...

I love seeing Dickson get high and drunk because he'll "harass" (in a good, clean, fun way) people and talk and talk and talk. He gets excited. And it's soooooo funyyyyyy....

Check out Gigi's expression!!!! He got excited too, rrreally excited.

MS was "down" under the influence of alcohol. She didn't want her husband Dickson getting drunk so she drank his share. And Dickson, because he drank liquor first (which he really shouldn't, now he knows) then wine, so he's "down" too. People in this photo all "down" and puke. Did Kai Long puke? I think didn't. Must ask SL who sent him home.

I drank my fair share of wine, because I am Gigi's "fixed target". hahahahahaha.... I felt my heartbeat went up, so I gulped down a whole glass of water. Then I was ok. whewww... once my heartbeat goes up, I know I am on my way to "cannot walk straight" condition.

I felt so bad for when MS was down, she still have the time to worry about me putting her photos in my blog... she asked KR how... if I really do that... I felt so bad.. Like my blog has given people big pressure... haha... sorry, MS, I won't lah. I dare not even take photos of you people drunk and the scene at that time.. I was afraid that I'd be condemned by our friends. ahhahahaha... So I didn't take photos of the scene.

Look at Gigi's expression.... I almost couldn't hold my camera still because of laughing~!

I must mention, Dickson asked for CK and Yap's phone no. when he's drunk (btw, I reallly thought he's ok and that's he just high instead of drunk~! haha... ). The truth is he intended to thank them for helping out him and MS. He was drunk and yet he still remember to do something as nice as this. Good man~! But the funny part is, he kept pressing the wrong button, CK and Yap wanted to help, and got scolded(sort of)~ ah... hahahaha.. soooo funny..... Oh, and Dickson called these 2 numbers the next day and asked, "May I know who are you?".... hahahaha..... I forgot to ask Dickson he saved these numbers using what name....

MS, you tell everything when you're "under the influence of alcohol".. did you know? Must take care ah. You said a lot of "sorry" but it's oklah. Don't worry, small matter ;)

At that time, MS talked in English, mainly because she talks more in English in her daily work life in SG, I supposed. Then, Gigi wanted to coax MS not to worry, no need to say sorry, Gigi too started talking in English. Then Kai Long also started talking in English~! Suddenly everybody started talking in ENglish... it was soooooooooo darn funny.....

I'm sorry I have to tell this in my blog, but this is the best one~! hehehe... I was told Dickson, when kind of drunk, asked YS's mother who was standing beside, "Auntie, you want to drink or not?". AAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH............................. too bad I wasn't there to witness this....... man........... Dickson, Dickson, you're the best~! If I were there, I'd sure pull you aside. Though what's done cannot be undone...

It was such a fun, great and memorable night. I thank you all for that great night~! When will we have such a fun night again, guys??
