Is it good to have a baby face? I don't think so. Like 林志颖, he's now what, over 30 yrs old? Every time he has a new character, for eg, a general in kungfu drama, or whatever, people will criticise him not mature enough to act as a general.
And there is me. Me, coming to 32 years old. And all the time I just attract people younger than me. Younger, as in, A LOT younger. It's good to look cute when I have a boyfriend, it is not good when I don't have boyfriend. Because I never attracted matured guys, I like older guys, as in, a lot older. So.. it's really sad to always attract younger guys...
Just today, I went sun tanning. A NUS student approached me and chatted with me. He thought I am in my early 20s.. add another 10 yrs please... I didn't tell him how old I am of course. He can only guess. He's sort of funny.. He asked me "So why did you come here?" or was it "So why did you decide to come here?" Something like that. Hello!? It is a swimming pool, I am either there to swim or to sun tan. And I was laying on the beach chair, isn't it obvious? Funny young boy. He kept saying something about lazy to go back NUS training so just come to TPY pool. I didn't bother to ask what training, but I think he hoped I asked. I have a "schedule" today. I must get back to JB before peak hours. I was glad he only came chat with me 10minutes before I am scheduled to leave. hehehe. I prefer to tan in my own peaceful world. Unless he is a matured, muscular guy. wahahahah. just kidding...
But seriously, is my face not attractive to matured guys??? sigh... I guess matured guys prefer matured, sexy ladies... sigh...
And seriously, again, all those who approached me in the past, were all very young guys. Never a matured man. Sooooooooo sad............. oh oh, got one lah, at least, my swimming instructor. But too bad, we're from different world kind of people. My exbfren is matured but I can't include him because he did not "approach" me. We know each other through diving.
Seems like I have a thing for instructors......... swimming, diving, wakeboarding... Jialat...

Photos gone
I went to Orchard on 23rd Dec. Even though I've worked here almost 5 years I have never went Orchard Road within one week from Christmas, as I don't really like the crowd and no one to go with.
This year I went with a girl friend, and we had fun watching the performances. I took some photos with my mobile phone. The lousy 2megapixel camera. Lousy though it is, at least I can take photos with it. However, the stupid software caused me to lose the all the photos I've taken. What the fuck.
I still have the videos I took. This video is the street performers from Japan. It's of very bad quality though, cos taken by my lousy mobile phone. But anyway, just listen to their music, very nice. I bought their CD, S$10. They are called Bonyari Band. One of them, second from left, looks exactly like Tom Hanks in Cast Away. Very cute. haha.

Madagascar... when...
I am kind of bored at home. Nothing much to do. Read back the old posts in my own blog. Wow. It's been 4 years since I started this blog. It feels like only yesterday. Time flies, very scarily fast.
2 years ago I wrote about wanting to go Madagascar. I had thought, 2 years, should be enough for me to save up for a trip there. 2 years passed. I have nothing. NOTHING in my bank. Guess Madagascar will have to wait for me.
For how long, I have no idea.

Zouk's Mambo night
Went clubbing at Zouk yesterday (Xmas eve) with friends, it's been a longgggg time since I last went such place. It was very fun~! I had a great time with my friends~
This is the first time I went clubbing in Spore, it's so much nicer than JB~! No smoke, no "beng". JB's clubbing spots are filled with Ah Beng, I hate it.
I expect I'd get tired around 2am or so, since nowadays I get tired a lot faster than last time when shopping. Getting old. But yesterday I did not feel tired at all even at 3:30am. Nice~
It was mambo night yesterday, my generation songs~ Soooooooooo nice to listen to 80s/early 90s songs for the whole night~ Really really nice. Bring back memories. No wonder KR said I would love it.
I was actually very happy yesterday.

Michelle in Wonderland
What a great adventurous day it was! Today is the first day I experienced the journey to Johor’s new checkpoint, the CIQ. What an exciting day! It’s like Alice In The Wonderland!
We must thank our government for being so considerate~!
Firstly, the road to this new CIQ is a long, winding road. The distance from Singapore checkpoint to the new CIQ is about double the distance from Singapore checkpoint to the old Johor checkpoint. Plus it is uphill. If you must walk, which is a good thing to you, I must say, you will soon have a pair of very slim legs! How exciting! Our government is so considerate! They must have noticed we Johoreans have been working too hard, coming back and forth Singapore everyday. How on earth will these people find time to exercise to improve their health? Yes! A long winding, uphill road it is! Problem solved!
Secondly, there is no pedestrian walkway. The people in charge of the design of CIQ must have noticed how dangerous the traffic is in Malaysia. How to educate people be more careful to avoid serious accidents on the road? No pedestrian walkway! What else? Without proper walkway, people will definitely be more careful as they have to share the road with motorists and cars and buses. Aren’t they sweet? Aaww……
Thirdly, can’t you see? Our government is trying to instill the mindset of “patience is virtue” to us all. Wow, such caring government, what more could we ask for? The autogates in the CIQ is not the speed of what you would expect with the technology now. It is slow. Why? Because, my friend, “patience is virtue”. Remember that. A very important lesson our government trying to teach us! Besides, the building is very beautiful, we should take time to appreciate the work, the design of this wonderful building while we wait for our turn at the autogates~ AND, because of these autogates, many people are taking books and newspapers with them and read it while patiently waiting. Our government must have seen this coming! How clever! Just recently I read that only small percentage of Malaysians have the habit of reading. And there I was, waiting for my turn, people around me reading~ Wow, government’s foresight!
Fourth but not least, since we are striving to becoming the next developed country, we must have artistic culture as well. After we passed through the autogates, we have to walk about 8minutes, through here through there, to this floor to that floor, to get to the exit to City Square. No, no, it’s not far, it is a short distance for us to learn to appreciate the artistic aspect of this building, the grandness, the design. There’s a manmade waterfall too~ Oh and the neon lights! Marvellous! The distance really isn’t far. It is also another good chance for us to use our muscles~ Come on, don’t be lazy~ even after a hard day’s work, exercise is a must! It is also good for the elderly people, they need to exercise too! I think our elderly hardly need to walk such a long distance now that most of us have cars in our homes~ And what about the pregnant women? Well, they should walk more too, and it’ll be easier for them when they are in labour~ Just have to make sure that the escalators are always in good form~ Today one of the escalators wasn’t working but I’m sure it is just a one time thingy, right~?
I really learnt a lot today. And I have become more patient. I knock off at 5:40pm, I work in the East part of Singapore. Normally, I will reach my JB home around 8pm. Today I reached at 9pm. A whole hour late. And I didn’t throw tantrum! I didn’t “black face”! I must have learnt “patience is virtue”! Oh Barisan National, I love you~ I am a die-hard BN supporter you know. In the next election, there’ll still only be BN in my eyes! No one else can replace such considerate government!
Will I end up being caught under the ISA? But I am praising the government~! I am speaking the truth ~! And I SAID I will vote for BN~! BN I love you! Thank you for a wonderful adventure today~!

Frog prince fairy tale
I received an email about this fairy tale. I must say, this is one damn good fairy tale that should have been read to us when we were little. I super like this fairy tale. Fucking good!
Once upon a time
in a land far away,
a beautiful, independent,
self-assured princess
happened upon a frog as she sat
contemplating ecological issues
on the shores of an unpolluted pond
in a verdant meadow near her castle
The frog hopped into the princess' lap
and said : "Elegant Lady,
I was once a handsome prince,
until an evil witch cast a spell upon me.
ONe kiss from you, however,
and I will turn back
into the dapper, young prince that I am
and then, my sweet, we can marry
and set up housekeeping in your castle
with my mother,
where you can prepare my meals,
clean my clothes, bear my children,
and forever feel grateful and happy doing so."
That night,
as the princess dined sumptuously
on lightly sauteed frog legs
seasoned in white wine
and onion cream sauce,
she chuckled and thought to herself :
I don't fuckin think so.
Haha~! Ain't it nice??!

My email to magazine published!
So happy!! My email to Sports Diving magazine was published!! I wrote that, I think, at least half a year ago. I never thought it gets to be published eventually~ Although it's no big deal, I just wrote to ask about the species of a nudibranch which I capture its photos. (Click to see a bigger pic)
Previously I wrote to Discovery Channel magazine too~ Saying how much I like the magazine and it was published too~ that one was fast. I forgot to upload it here. That was the FIRST time I have things published in any magazine~ even if just a few lines~ And here it is, my SECOND~ ha~!!! I am sooooo thrilled!!
In this one, the nudibranch expert said "thank you for your extensive information". I think, I might have been too long winded describing the whole thing. hahaha.... well, doesn't matter as long as it's published~!
p.s. I read Dis Ch magazine while I pangsai (pass motion) in toilet, hehehehehe... and my eyes almost dropped off when I saw my name in the magazine. WAHAHAHAHAHAHAH.......

Melancholy, again
This is the worst time of my life after Gab's heart surgery. I want to cry everyday.
So many things caused me unhappy. Except for our new JB house.
I know I am a cry baby. And I might just be crying for nothing. I don't know. I am just unhappy.
I can cry any time, any where. Sometimes I cry too much and maybe I don't know what I'm crying about.
SG room moving thing, I think my Miko also unhappy. THis room is so hot. I am so worried that she might suffer heatstroke and die. My poor miko, she has a poor owner who cannot afford better for her. And I can't let her out for that long like I used to. I feel so guilty for that. I am so sad to see her laying there, waiting for me to let her out.. I hope she will be alright...
