Queue at an empty counter

Went to McD yesterday. I was second in the queue. One of the staffs, an auntie, came to take my order using a PDA. After taking my order she said to me, "Go to the counter please." But there was no cashier at the counter she gestured to me...

So I stood there, remained silence. I didn't want to move since there was NO cashier there. She then repeated what she said and pushed me towards that counter... I had no choice.. She pushed me... Can't she see that there's no cashier there??

So I stood in front of the empty counter... dumbfounded...
Then the customer at the counter I was queuing left. So I moved back to that counter… What a waste of time having me to go to the empty counter… funny woman.
