Diving at Kusu Island

We went Kusu Island (one of the many small islands on the southern part of Singapore) on Boxing Day to dive there for the first time. None of us have dive there before.

Here's Jean and me.

A shot towards our destination from the bow. I love my picture composition of Jean looking ahead.

Me~! I love my bikini~

There were 8 of us.

Shenton Way. We plan to dive around the rocks next time.

I didn't know how to pose for the picture, and I just showed my booty... what an idiot...

A very beautiful nudibranch...

It is really amazing how technology has advanced over the generations. And I just realised with only one click I can restore the colour from this :

to this :

Fantastic isn't it? and I was still asking CK to help me buy a colour filter for my camera. Lucky he couldn't find it!!!! This is better than having strobes and colour filter!!!

Anyway, there are so many sea fans in Kusu which we can't see in Hantu.. man.. aren't they beautiful. Many of them are at least 1m wide... I was totally excited upon seeing these. and I was so busy taking photos... snap, snap and snap...

This photo was taken by Gabriel. See the colour difference after adjustment. This nudibranch is really weird looking. but this photo is really nice. The nudibranch itself is very sharp, and there were particles seemed like "flying" in the background. It looks almost like snowing.

Another nudibranch. Plenty of these we saw. Many of them were mating.

A cowrie on sea whip.

Jean and bubble coral. Jean looked so cute...
Kusu island is definitely worth going, despite me got stung by sea bites on my feet and hands.... damn itchy man... can't stand... but we'll definitely dive there again~!

My drawings

I miss secondary school days. Not the days when we had exams though, exams suck.

I wasn't a very hardworking student during sec school. I don't revise at all after school hours. So I had plenty of time. And I drew these (I dug them out when I talked to my little cousins about drawing on Xmas day):

Sailormoon.

七龙珠. My proudest "work". The person who laminated this almost spoil the whole drawing!! It wasn't properly placed, the paper got stuck. See the crease on the top right side. I spent about 2 weeks drawing this. If the whole thing got stuck, I would cry and smash everything in his shop!!!!! My heart almost stopped when the paper jammed and the man tried to pull it straight using brute force. I thank every God in the world that my drawing was not ruined... It's IMPOSSIBLE for me to draw this a second time...

This is a character from Lodoss War. I love this drawing. Well, actually I love each and every one of my drawing. haha...

I wonder if anybody remembers PJ and Duncan. These 4 drawings are about 10 years old... Geez... I couldn't believe it. They are already 10 years of history...

Can anyone recognise who this is?
It's Brad Pitt. Sorry, i know, I drew, not drew, "dotted" his nose and mouth a bit ugly... haha.. I spent 2 weeks doing nothing but "dotting" this drawing until my right hand was left with not much feelings. This drawing is already 9 years old......

I wish I have the time to draw again.. but it's so difficult...

Christmas Day

My mum cooked these and invited our relatives to come on Christmas Day. I haven't recover from my sore throat... and I'm eating loads of fried stuff~~!

This is my cute cousin.

I asked them to let me take some nice photos of them before I allowed them to play with my computer. So, everyone turned very cooperative after that~

"Bossy" little one..

Little stylist at work...

On Christmas Eve we visited baby

It’s Christmas Day~ Merry Christmas everyone~
Very cooling day it is. I hope tomorrow will be a hot day though… I am going diving….

Anyway, this blog is about my best friend Soch Teng’s new born baby~!! It's a boy~ born on 20th December. Yet to be named, so i'm just going to call him BB here.

Here’s the proud father

No mummy’s photo here though.. Mummy looks tiring now, so… know lah, we girls must look pretty pretty then only want to take photos~ Wait till baby’s full moon, then I’ll take nice nice photos of cute baby and pretty mummy

The gifts we bought for baby~

When we just got there, BB kept smiling in his dreams… so cute~~ haha… and when I talked to him (he’s half sleep after he took the milk) he smiled to me quite a few times~ Hmm… guess BB likes my voice, eh?

We wanted to wait for BB to wake up and play with him. He’s supposed to wake up to take his milk already but he kept on sleeping. He’s so cute.. We were very noisy but he was sleeping as soundly as we were not there. We waited for so long and finally he’s awake. But he falls back to sleep right after he took his milk……… No choice…

We said goodbye to BB and left to have some tea break in a well-known café at Plaza Pelangi.

Felicia ordered mushroom soup… I couldn’t help myself but blurted out in front of the waiter, “Wah…so small ah?” As you can see, the bun is bigger than the soup…

This photo is funny…It looked as if YY is very “buay song” with Carrie.

Very delicious looking Latte.
Felicia was commenting about the heavy downpour at this moment. And I said to her, “Well, just imagine that it is snowing out there~” More romantic to think it that way, no?

Afterwards, Carrie and Felicia left to continue with their own programs for the evening. YY, Natasha and me went window shopping for a while.
I wanted to buy Angels and Demons at Popular bookshop. But can you believe it I couldn’t find it?? You can’t walk into a bookshop in Spore without bumping into a pile of Dan Brown’s books. But here they only sell 2 Dan Brown’s hard cover books which cost hundred over Ringgit each… Forget it…

Then the 3 of us continued our girls’ talk in a café named “Batu Keras” (means hard rock) outside of Plaza Pelangi. They sell traditional kopi-o~~ I like~~ YY kept saying why they called the place “Batu Keras”, she figured because they can’t use the English words “Hard Rock”, so they use Malay instead.. haha… quite clever actually.

I like this photo if it’s not blurred. Again, no flashlight caused it to blur due to the slightest movement of my hand. YY and Natasha took their meals at the previous café. So then now it was my turn. I ordered nasi lemak.

YY can’t help but said, “Wah, the fried chicken is “very BIG” loh..” hahaha…

The forever pretty Natasha.

Me look so muscular… Dunno good or bad…
